A major concern highlighted from our original Survey early last year was the condition of the Woodthorpe Green Play Area. Things are now moving forward with Executive Member (Cllr Keith Aspden) allocating £17,000 towards improvement for the Woodthorpe Green play area. At the Ward Team meeting Cllr. S. Fenton Lib Dem. stated their intention to top this up with funds from the ward budget (any unspent money from 2016/17, plus an allocation from the 2017/18 budget).

This is excellent news and the Woodthorpe York Community Group have been asked to assist the Council in collating suggestions as to how the funding is to be spent. We need your help by filling out a short Survey  for the WYCG working party to provide your  information to the council for this work to progress.
